This Pulsed Galvanic Stimulator is a high voltage galvanic system. It is most useful in acute injuries associated with major tissue trauma with bleeding or swelling. This device is battery powered and generates small pulses of electrical current. Each pulse is much shorter in duration (5ms) and can achieve much higher voltage than a conventional stimulator.
